Shopping Preferences
How to update or style your preferences
Shopping Preferences help Haze personalize what you see.
After completing your Body Scan, you’ll choose:
• Your reason for shopping
• Your preferred style
• Your preferred fit
These selections are saved to your profile and used to tailor:
• First Looks (your personalized try-on previews)
• Recommendations and content in the app
You must complete all three steps to continue.
When You’ll See This Screen
You’ll see Shopping Preferences:
• Immediately after finishing your body scan photos
• Before setting your profile image
• Before viewing First Looks
This screen is part of onboarding. There is no separate Preferences menu in Settings.
How to Set Your Shopping Preferences
The flow has three steps.
1. Select Your Reason for Shopping
• Tap a card that matches why you’re shopping (for example: casual wear, events, work).
• The app will automatically move to the next step after selection.
• You can also tap Next: Preferred Style at the bottom.
2. Select Your Preferred Style
• Tap the style that best represents you.
• The selected card is highlighted.
• The app moves forward automatically or tap Next: Preferred Fit.
3. Select Your Preferred Fit
• Choose how you prefer your clothes to fit.
Tap Finish: First Looks to save.
Your preferences are saved and you’ll be taken to the Profile Image screen, then to First Looks.
How the Cards Work
On each step:
• Swipe left or right to view options.
• Tap a card to select it.
• The selected card is highlighted.
• If nothing is manually selected, the currently highlighted card is used.
If Something Doesn’t Load
You may see:
• Loading indicator: Options are being fetched.
• “Could Not Load Preferences”: Tap Try Again.
• “No preferences available”: Tap Refresh.
Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Changing Your Preferences Later
There is no separate Edit Preferences screen.
To update your preferences, you’ll need to go through the Body Scan flow again if that option is available.
